Pumpkin Patch

I'm going to attempt to catch up. I have lots of pics from Halloween week but I will make several different posts.

Sunday October 28, 2007 we went to TG Farms. It is a pretty neat place in Newcastle. There are pony rides, pumpkin patch, hay rides, petting zoo, corn and hay maze. All sorts of things for the little kids to run around and do.

We started with mearsuing up the kid a bit.



Then on to the petting zoo. She wasn't sure about all of it.


There were several places to take pictures.


She did not like her first pony ride.


But she LOVED the pumpkins


I even dressed her up in her Halloween costume for a pic.

I love her daycare.

Anyone with kids knows how hard it is taking them to a daycare. You want to be home with them all the time but alas, life doesn't work out that way most of the time. Not that staying home is easy. It takes alot of work to be a SAHM. Probably more than my job. Who am I kidding, I know it is harder than my job. Anyway, I LOVE K's daycare. They love her so much. All of the teachers know her. They all come out and wave to her when we leave. I know that she is very well taken care of and I totally trust them with every aspect of her care. I actually feel I don't pay them enough because little girl is tough.

Yesterday they did photo buttons for them. It is amazing the difference in one year.

Ahhh Monday

I'm going to try to start posting more often which only means more boring stuff from me. We didn't do much this weekend. Just hung out at the house. B was on Fall Break and watched K on Friday. They really had fun. We actually watched 3 movies this weekend - take that Netflix - going to get our monies worth this time. We saw We are Marshall (Great), Fantastic 4 - Rise of the Silver surfer (Good), and Knocked up. That is about the extent of the weekend. We are gearing up for Halloween, K will be a LadyBug and B's birthday. Christmas is right around the corner.

I'm looking for ways to tame the beast that is K's hair so I tried a ponytail this weekend. See if you think she resembles anyone.







She is so much fun. She is also a little OCD and very into her routines. Of course she has been that way since birth. We get up, go to daycare, come home. She has to have her juice in the car, has to watch Johnny and the Sprites as soon as she walks in the door. Funny I remember coming home from Kindergarten with Grandma Nagel and sitting on the floor watching Mr. Rogers Neighborhood while she made me a ham sandwich. Everyday. I had to have it the same everyday. Just like Kaylen.

Wow, looks like I missed a whole week. This is K's outfit for B's basketball games. It fits as it is the school colors.



She wouldn't stop watching her cartoon long enough to look at me.

I have the cutest trash men

I don't know how it happens but we manage to fill up the trash can every day. So.... everyday after B gets home from work he takes out the trash. Isn't he great! Hands off ladies, he's mine!!! Anyway, he always takes Miss K with him. She LOVES it. Anytime he gets the bag out of the trash can she gets all worked up and wants her shoes on and keeps circling him ready to go. It takes them FOREVER because he lets her walk all the way there and back.

She had some crazy hair going the other day on their trip so B put her hat on her to sheild it from the neighbors.
