Bad Bad Day!!!
Today started off pretty normal.
It is red ribbon week at Kay's school and she had to wear a shirt of her favorite team.
Work was normal, frustrating but normal.
I stopped and got groceries before picking up Bugs at daycare.
This is where it went bad...
On the way to the daycare, I notice the air conditioner wasn't cold. We replaced the whole system in August so I was already gearing up for a fight with the shop to have them fix it again. Then the air got colder and I notice the car temperature gauge is pegged out at hot. Two hours later Laney and I are riding home with Jinny while my car is in the shop. If that were not enough, during the time on the side of the road, I called the after-school care to tell them that my Mother-In-Law was picking up Kay only to learn she had been kissing a boy at school. She was kissing a boy from her soccer team.
So to sum up the day...
We missed soccer practice. I am going to miss a dentist appointment tomorrow and who knows what is wrong with the car. I'm praying for a hose.

Pumpkin Patch 2011
The girls came straight from school to the pumpkin patch so there wasn't much primping done. You can probably see the food on Bug's shirt and yes, her hair does this naturally. I do nothing but spray it with water and comb it in the morning.
My sweet angel would shout at the goats 'Hey goat!! Get ober here!! You come eats this food!!' They would then start eating and she would say 'Ok, thank you, good-bye.' and walk away.
She loved this slide. Could have stayed here all day.
Yes, that is my hot husband!
This is why we don't have 3 kids. This is what happens when we try to trade off. B -take Bugs, I take Kay.

Was very shocked that Bugs actually said 'I need to ride dat horse.' Kay has always been scared. She finally rode one this year though.
They were very tired and ready to stop giving rides by the time we got to them.
Everyone picked a pumpkin and then it was time to head home.
Until next year pumpkin patch!

Maeson's Birthday
I've takled before about my friend Jinny. We were roomates long ago and I've worked with her for years. Her daughter turned 6 and she had a party at the bowling alley. My artist, Kay, had to make her a picture. These days we are hardly able to leave the house without a drawing for someone.

I'm not sure why I was shocked at the intensity Kay put into the bowling. That girl is a mini version of her father. All in, all the time. 110% or nothing.

The other kids would bowl, run and play in the arcade, come back, walk around. Not Kay. I don't even know if she stepped off of the floor. She would get antsy if someone's turn came around and they were not there to bowl. It was so funny.

She even got on to Jinny for walking off once. She said 'Are you going to come up here and help me?' Bugs - could care less. She wanted some icing and to play. She'd throw the ball and walk off.

Love the joy in Maeson's face here.

The girls had a great time!!!
