3 Years - Has it really been that long?

When it started I never thought we would make it to this day. Wow is she a tough kid. She never wants to sleep and totally has a mind of her own, but, that is what makes me love her so much too. Like at night when I'm trying to get her to sleep and she is doing everything she can to stay up she'll snuggle close to me and say "I love you so much mama." I'll say "I love you too Kaylen, now go to sleep." and she'll say 'Oh, but mama, I just love you so much.' How can you have a bad day with that.

She is still tiny. 25.6 lbs and 37 inches tall. She is in 3T clothes but that is if the pants are cinched up. She has TONS of curly hair that is so hard to fix but looks so beautiful with her giant blue eyes. She has been in two different daycares and it doesn't matter which one she was in she found some way to charm the teachers and everytime I pick her up she is attached to their sides. Bryan even asked "How is it that you girls take over every place you go?"

She sings all the time. Barney songs, Disney songs, Church songs. She is constantly singing. She has a great memory - probably adds to her OCD.

She is just so fun. We really are lucky God trusted us with her.

First time in the new pool

We love our new little pool. It was quite cold at first and Kaylen wasn't sure about sitting down in it but she loves it now. It is the perfect size for us. For 20.00 how can you beat it.

Cold!!!

Getting splashed.

Baby sister first time swimming.

Then we went in the front of the house and drew some pictures with her new sidewalk chalk.

Our redneck patio and pool

When you have a new house and new baby - there isn't much left over for a new patio and pool so we went the cheap route. We love it. It is perfect for our young family.

Summer and the park

It finally stopped raining around here so we were able to get the girls out and take them to the park. It was soooo nice. Laney liked it for about 30 minutes and Kaylen could have stayed all day.

Laney in the stroller.

She was really telling me something in this one.

Fun on the slide.

Dad tries the slide

Owe - that doesn't feel good after having two back surgeries.

Dirt - I think she wants to be a gardner.

Dad trying to get her to run. He's constantly training her.

Dad fun.

K and Dad built a tower with her giant leggos. These pics were taken by Dad so please take that into consideration when viewing.

K decided it would be fun to run around the giant tower.

Mom was telling her to pose next to her tower.

The running began...
