Cousins

On Friday the girls and I went back to Gaga's.  Bry had a scrimmage and the cousins wanted to hang out together.  Plus I got some pics of the neices for my sister.

The two skinny chicks dawned big hats.

2nd Thanksgiving

The first half of the day was spent at The Merritt's house.  After that we went on to Gaga & Papa's.

I finally got a pic of the Merritt's at Thanksgiving.  It was a bit bright but everyone is there!

Straight hair

I decided to try and straighten both girl's hair for Thanksgiving.  LB looked like a totally different girl and so grown up.





By the time we made it go Gaga's house.  She had been running and playing and her sweat was causing it to curl back up.

The gift we received from Chuck E Cheese

Laney must have caught a bug at  Chuck E Cheese (shocker right).  I picked her up and we were just sitting on the couch.  She was watching a movie on the computer.  It was close to nap time but I was letting her go a little past because she was being quiet.  Then after about 15 minutes, I looked over and saw this.....



She was already asleep.  Just another example of bad parenting.  I didn't even know it. 

When she woke up, we made a trip to The Walmarts. 


She felt better by the end of the day.

Chuck e Cheese party

Nick is my best friend's brother. He has had some hard times in his life and I am glad he has finally grown up and married an amazing woman and had two beautiful daughters who will probably make him pay for all he did to his mother growing up. The girls and I went to his daughter's birthday party at chuck-e-cheese this weekend.  I didn't get to visit much as I spent the time chasing kids.  As did most of the parents there.

Soccer Romance

We have had to engage in some serious talks with Miss Kay about the kissing. It is hard to do since the little boy plays on the soccer team. Dad is ready to move to another planet. This doesn't bode well for the teen years. Forget colleges, he'll be looking for a convent. It is hard to know where to draw the line. How do you explain that to a 5 year old. I'm sure nothing crazy is going on but your mind races to 'Why did she do that?' "What has he seen in his house?' Wasn't ready for it at 5. But soccer is coming to an end and I think we will be much better once that happens. They are in different classes at school and the teachers are very aware. Helps when Dad works in the system. Ah, to be a young girl in love.

Hubby's Birthday

For B's birthday Dad got us tickets to an OU game.It was cold and windy but we had an amazing time.  It did take us a couple hours just to leave the parking lot but we finally made it out.
