Time for Catch up.

Sorry I have neglected this. Life has just been too busy. We moved, the basketball season is starting and the baby is getting bigger every day.

I can only try to do better.

K is loving the new house. We brought Kobe back home and they get to play in the back yard. She really likes Fall I guess as she loves playing in the leaves. Dad tried to pick them up but we are in a very tree filled neighborhood so they were falling as fast as he was picking them up and his helper wasn't much better. So we have lots of leaves for K to play in.

Halloween 2008

We live in a very Halloween friendly neighborhood. I think everyone in town comes through. B's mother had told us in advance so we purchased lots of candy. K was a Bee and started eating the candy before we left the house. We walked all through the neighborhood and went to Grandma's and Grandpa's so we didn't get home until 9:00. Needless to say we still have bags of unopened candy. K loved going door to door and saying "Trick to Treat" that was her version. Of course she'd get the candy, say "Thank you, Ok, bye, see you!" and run off to the next house. Never making eye contact with the nice people. We enjoyed it.

Too much estrogen in the house.

Poor Bryan is way outnumbered now. We found out we are having another girl. She is healthy but Bryan is going to have to switch to coaching girls when the time comes.

I will be 35 - 25 days before she is due so I'm considered "Advanced Maternal Aged". We had to go to a specialist but got some great pics of the baby.

Wordless Wednesday - Mini Me

The Hair - It is a planet unto itself.

This is morning hair. This is what she looks like when she wakes up in the morning before we tame it with water, gel, and some pig tails of some sort.





And the feet - are they too cute. Don't you want to chew on her toes!!! Maybe that is a mom thing.

The words - they keep on coming.

Man, K is talking so much more lately. Everyday it is a new word. Last night I put on her first character shirt. Her favorite person - Minnie Mouse. She ran around trying to look at it, almost walking into the wall shouting 'Mimmie, Mimmie. Oh, Mimmie.'

We have books that we have read and she can point out some of the things. Book, Balloon, Train, Car, Ball (of course), she says 'eyes' when she sees glasses, we'll work on that one. It is amazing how much she has grown. We are so blessed.
