Birthday Night

LB's birthday was on a Tuesday so we got some cupcakes and sang to her her with just our little family of four.

I don't even know how to comprehend this day. It seems like it went to fast but it also seems like she has always been here. I know I could not imagine life without her here.

The Fuchs

I've been friends with Destiny since I was 10 years old. Her family is a part of me and I've been to as many family functions of hers as I have my own I think. She was in town and asked if I'd come by so she could see the girls. I was so surprised to find everyone was there. Her brothers, grandmother, aunts, uncles, and cousins. It was great to see everyone.

This is her brother Cheyenne. He is so great with kids. Maybe because he is a giant kid himself. He fed Laney cheesecake and that is all she needed to fall in love with him. The way to her heart is through her stomach. Not unlike her mother.


We may need to rethink that shirt.


This is Destiny's youngest girl Harley. She became fast friends with Kaylen. They played hide and seek.

We had used candy and food for the snowman's eyes and buttons and stuff. When we arrived back home, Kobe had eaten everything. It didn't stop him however from making friends with Mr. Snowman.

I don't know when I have laughed so hard. He totally looks like he is hanging out with his new buddy.

Christmas at Gaga's.

Saturday we made our way to Gaga's house. Kendal had been DYING because they hadn't gotten to open the presents at Gaga's house yet so we headed out around 10:00 a.m. The highway wasn't bad but the side roads were still a problem. We got to their house and couldn't make it up the driveway so we just parked in the street.

Later it was snowman time at Gaga's.


Aunt Karie found Kay a coat in Texas!!!! She calls it her lion coat.






Of course the teenage punks across the street knocked it all down overnight. It is sad that they would do that after seeing little kids put it up.

Christmas at the Merritt's

I have no idea what happened to the pictures of our Christamas at the Merritt's. This is the only one that turned out. All of the rest were WAY to close and not flattering of anyone.



We did have a great time. Uncle Neal was in town and the girls got way to many presents (Thank you Robert and Janet). That is until we tried to leave and they had to push our car away from the house because of the ice. It was a scary trip back to our house. But, we made it safe and it was a great ending to a beautiful day.

White Christmas

Christmas Eve we got a big snow storm - well, big for Oklahoma. So we were unable to go to see family on Christmas Day. Instead we bundled everyone up to go play in the snow.

CHRISTMAS!!! (Part 2)

After the "cookie" breakfast it was time to open presents. Pictures speak for themselves. After all the toys were opened - Kay liked her $10.00 bucket of dinosaurs the best, and Laney liked Kaylen's jeep. Kay ended up being scared to ride it much but Laney was all over the house with it.
