To my baby: Happy Birthday Bugs

Well Miss LB - here we are 2 years into this thing. Man we are having fun. You are such a good little girl. You inherited my grace. This means you walk into walls without prompting. You trip over your own feet... often. The good thing is you have such a good disposition, you just jump up and keep on trucking.

You now weigh the same as your sister - who is 2 1/2 years older. You are a size smaller in clothes and shoes but that is really only because of the height difference. Sometimes I put the same ones on when I'm lazy.

You are still eating everything. Your favorite food is Firey Buffalo Wing Pringles. You love 'pancakes'. These are actually Loft House cookies but you call them pancakes. I buy them for you because you love them and not because I like to eat them too.

I'm still working on getting your sister to like you. She is very jealous. But, just so you know... when I put you to sleep, she cries because she wants you to wake up and play with her. So.. just know she really loves you, she just has a hard time showing it sometimes.

We are starting to reach a stage that I do not like. It is called 'Daddy's girl'. I already lost your sister to it and I refuse to lose you too. I'm not quite sure how to stop this but believe you me, I will be researching it.

You really are turning into a little kid now, talking all the time. You even know your colors - this all came from school. I also would like to think you may be a genius but I may be partial.





I love you so much Bugs. I can't imagine our life without you.

Laney - 2 years old

We didn't have LB's birthday party until after the New Year but we celebrated at home on the day.

The Woody and Jessie Doll's were the hit of Christmas.



For whatever reason both girls want to take their pants off when they come home. I hope they grow out of that. It could make life interesting later. Daycare made LB a crown for her Birthday and she insisted on wearing it.


Kay has decided she wants back in dance and just to drive the point home, she puts on her 'All the Single Ladies' leotard and wears it until it is time to go to bed.

Horse Races

The girls really love the horses that their Grandma got them. Tonight they have some races in the living room. They had a blast.

Christmas - Part 2

After the Merritt's we headed to Duncan. The opening of the gifts began immediately as Kendall & Mackenzie had been waiting.

Papa had a DVD of a fire going on the TV. It even made the crackling sounds.

Christmas Day

We started Christmas day at home. I decided to just enjoy it this year and didn't take any pictures. We do have it on video but it is to much to upload here. Besides that, there are plenty of other pics of the girls at the other two Christmases we went to. After our Christmas at home, we went to Grandma & Grandpa Merritt's.















So excited to get her Jessie doll.


LB had already taken possession of the Woody doll we got for Kay earlier at our house.

Gaylord 2010 - Part 2

Wednesday we had tickets to go through the ICE at 10:00 that way we wouldn't have to wait. Judy has been having back problems since July. Yesterday she got another shot in her back that we hope will help. Anyone who knows her knows she threatned us with violence if we made her get in a wheelchair. But, when the time came, she complied. I was very glad because LB was tired and dead weight. I haven't been to the gym much lately so my arm was killing me. It was nice to have a place to sit her.

We all got our big blue coats and were off. It is COLD in there. 7-12 degrees with wind. WOW.








Kay went down the ice slide twice. I'm not sure if she liked it or just did it but she went and that is what is important for our scardy cat.


Bryan went also.












The lobby of the Gaylord is beautiful. I wish I wasn't carrying so much stuff and I would have taken more pictures.
