Gaylord 2010 - Part 1

We took a couple days before Christmas to visit the Gaylord in Texas. Karie's family went last year and she wanted us to all go this year. After some Priceline switcheroo's we were off.

It was the first time I have used Priceline. Our hotel cost $45.00. It was across from the Galleria. We pull up and they tell us it is an all valet hotel. Needless to say the cars in the parking lot were much nicer than our kid blessed CRV. We were a little taken back that we would have to unload all of our stuff right then to take to the room. Normally, we go to the room and B slowly brings up the stuff.

The room was very nice.




I must say however... the hotel will probably be taking themselves off the priceline list. The girls were like rockstars in that place. We spilled a coke in the elevator, Laney choked and threw up all over the room and the bed, milk was spilled on the floor. We were there less than 24 hours and it seriously needs an exorcism.

Tuesday we went to the Galleria and B & Kay ice skated for the first time - BOTH of them. Kay was sooo excited, until she got out there and then it was 10 min of crying as she made her way around the outside of the rink.
