Birthday Girl

I decorated her door for when she woke up. Of course she got up in the night to go to the bathroom and messed up the surprise.





For her 'real' birthday, we went to Yesterday's Diner in town and had dinner and some ice cream. 






Happy 6th Birthday Kay!  We are so blessed to have you in our lives.

I stole this idea from a photographer's blog that I follow  'I should be folding Laundry'. I think it is an awesome way to capture the mind of your child at a certain age. I even recorded it so we can listen to it when she is older. After all of the Birthday celebrations tonight, when I was putting Kay to bed, I asked her some questions.

How old are you going to be? 6

Do you feel older? Yes

Do you feel taller? Yes.  Why? Because I just feel it inside.

Tell me about your birthday party? I had a Pinkdelicious party at Chuck E Cheese.

Was it fun? Yes, Bailey, Cooper, Dayvon and Maeson came.

What is your favorite color? Pink and Purple

What is your favorite food that I make? Hum, Cheese Sandwich

What Do you like cooking with me? Cupcakes

What has been your favorite present this year? A LaLaLoopsy doll.

What are some big things that happened to you while you were five? I started Kindergarten, and was in Homecoming and was a cheerleader in front of everyone.

**Break** Laney came in trying to stay up.

What is your favorite thing to do? Draw pictures.

Do you like being a big sister to Laney? Yes

Do you love her so much?  Yes.

Tell me something you love about her? For her to do funny things.

What do you think you will be when you are older? Paint stuff like you. (Wine and Palette)

What do you love about Mom? Taking pictures of me.

What do you love about Dad? Him being my family.  He does funny stuff like blow bubbles and swimming. 

If you could do anything in the world for your birthday, what would it be?

I would have a big pony.

Beating the heat.

We have so much fun in our Walmart pool. It is perfect for the girls.

Branson #2

Because we weren't doing enough in May, we decided to take another trip to Branson.  We stayed at Still Waters again.  Spent lots of time swimming and a day at Silver Dollar City.

Bugs took it upon herself to adopt Kay's balloon.




She let Kay have it every once in a while.

6th Birthday Party

When I had the girls, I was some how able to schedule their births at a perfect time where they did not interfere with the all encompassing Basketball Season.  The bad thing about this was that both girl's birthday's happen outside of the school year thus making their birthday parties hard to plan.

I had Kay's party the day after school let out so her friends could come.

We had her party at Chuck E Cheese.  She wanted a Pinkdelicious party at Chuck E Cheese, again, very specific.



I got the cupcakes at Keepin' It Sweet.  They were AMAZING!!!

Mother's Day 2012

The girls were very sweet for Mother's day.

Dance Recital 2012

May is so busy for us.  End of school, End of Dance, Kay's birthday. (Could by why I'm really writing this in August.)

Kay loved this outfit.  Thought it was funny that the chest part was defined.  She kept giggling about it.

B's mom is having severe back problems and was unable to come as she wouldn't be able to sit in the chairs. Gaga came and brought some flowers.
