Maeson's Birthday

I've takled before about my friend Jinny. We were roomates long ago and I've worked with her for years. Her daughter turned 6 and she had a party at the bowling alley. My artist, Kay, had to make her a picture. These days we are hardly able to leave the house without a drawing for someone.



I'm not sure why I was shocked at the intensity Kay put into the bowling. That girl is a mini version of her father. All in, all the time. 110% or nothing.

 



The other kids would bowl, run and play in the arcade, come back, walk around. Not Kay. I don't even know if she stepped off of the floor. She would get antsy if someone's turn came around and they were not there to bowl. It was so funny.



She even got on to Jinny for walking off once. She said 'Are you going to come up here and help me?' Bugs - could care less. She wanted some icing and to play. She'd throw the ball and walk off.
