So, late June, early July, we decided we were going to take a trip to Puerto Vallarta. With new regulations you have to have a passport to go to Mexico. So we jumped through all the hoops to get our passports, paying extra for Expedited service. We applied on July 3 and were very excited on July 18 when we both had received our passports. We were leaving on July 27th. Well, we open the passports and there it is 'Byran'. They spelled Bryan's name wrong. Panic sets in. So I call the passport office and they say to just go with it and return it for correction when we get back. Sure, easy for them to say, they won't be stuck in a Mexican prison if there is a problem. Well, I guess they were right because we made it there and back without any major problems.
It is an OK place to visit. We spent 85 percent of our time at the hotel by the pool or in the room. You can't move 10 feet without someone trying to sell you something and it gets a little old having to say "No Thanks" all the time or just try to avoid eye contact 24x7. They even came up to us while we were laying by the pool as we were close to the beach.
It was a nice break from life and we both got a tan. Here are some of the only pics I took. Like I said, most of the time was spent laying by the pool and that isn't too interesting.
My view most of the trip.

And last.... how can you have a bad trip when you come home to this!
