Florida: Day 1

The day we arrived I did not have anything to do for my conference. It was just a travel day.

It is a family custom to take a walk around the hotel before we venture out into the town around us.

K kept saying that we were staying in the jungle.










Our hotel was right next to the disney boardwalk. It was a very nice place to walk around.




We then went to Downtown Disney. It was a LONG ride on the shuttle bus but we had made a reservation at the TREX restaurant so we got right in when we arrived.


It is owned by the same company that runs the Rainforrest Cafe's. It is basically the same but with Dinosaurs instead of the other animals. K got VERY nervous when it would get dark and all the Dinos would growl but I think she enjoyed it.



She wanted no part of getting close to the Dinos though.






They also have a 'Build-a-Dino' inside. It is also just like Build-a-bear except with a Dino.

I told B that she may be one of the only kids to come to Disney World and leave with a Dinosaur instead of a Mickey Mouse.
