Picture Day

So, I'm not much of a make-up and hair type girl. I'm a wash and go type person. I didn't grow up in dance or anything so I have no experience with it at all. I always thought I'd have boys. So, last week Kay got her costumes and instructions for picture day and Recital night. Picture day was to be 'light' makeup. Recital night - HEAVY make-up. I cringe at that because I think of that pagent show with the crazy mamas.

Here we are picture night. I planned on taking off early but that never happens. Someone always walks in right as I'm shutting down my computer. So, I'm totally rushed getting home and we have to go right to the dance place. B was supposed to watch LB but forgot they were having a tip-in club meeting so I had to take her to Grandma's house. This adds more time to my already tight schedule. But.... in typical SuperMom fashion I did it. I think she looked pretty good. This is our photoshoot at home with the 'light' make up.

So, we get to the studio and I realize my definition of 'Light' and some other's definition of 'light' are totally different. I think there were some calking guns in some people's purses.

This is Serenity. Sometimes Kaylen makes her pick her up. Kaylen kicks her leg up like a lady getting kissed in an old movie. It totally cracks me up.
