The plus about Under 6 is they do not keep score. Of course, I'm sure some parents keep score but it is mostly just for kids to have fun and learn soccer.
Poor K is so tiny, her t-shirt swallowed her up.

We also found when searching for her soccer gear that it is hard to find shoes smaller than a size 9.5-10. Kay wears a 7. So. We put on two pair of socks.

Today was a doublely special day. It was Gaga & Papa's 40th wedding anniversary. Everyone came to eat lunch and watch Kay's first game.
It was VERY hot.

The Referee came by to check the kids shoes.

She then calls over the coach to tell him that Kay's mother, who knows nothing about soccer, put the shin guards on the outside of the socks.

Once the shin guards were placed in the right spot - the game could begin.

This is how focused she was on the game. She is waving to everyone.

I think throwing the ball in is the equivillent to playing Right Field in baseball. The star players don't throw the ball in. Kay throws the ball in alot.
