Kay's shoes

Kaylen, last night at Homecoming.

Kaylen: Momma, my shoes are hurting my feet now.
Me: Well, I'm sorry but that is just part of being a girl. The prettiest shoes always hurt your feet.
Kaylen: I don't like being a girl!

20 minutes later....
Kaylen: Can I wear my shoes to school Monday?
Me: I thought they hurt?
Kay: Well, that's OK. It is just a little bit.
