I think I'm going to use this space to give daily/weekly updates on Little Miss K and life with at the Merritt household.
This week Bryan is taking his HS team to Newcastle for some games. They are playing 3 a day so he's pretty worn out when he gets home. He is missing 3 of his starters and as of today after 6 games, they are 4-2. Not bad. Last week they played in Lawton and were split at 3-3. I believe last year (his first year) they hadn't won a game so this is a vast improvement. He is the best coach alive so that should come to no surprise to anyone!!! No I'm not biased.
Little K took a couple steps last night. She is so stubborn though that once she gets close enough to you she just leans forward and lets you catch her. She has also taken to waking up at about 1:00 a.m. just to chat. Not quite sure why she thinks this is appropriate but we are going to put the kbosh on that tonight I think. I'm really going to try this time to kick her out into her own room. We've tried the little Arm's reach Co-sleeper and she now realizes she can still crawl into our bed to sleep with us.
I'll also try to add one new pic a day just so you can see her pretty face!

Welcome to the blogging world! I look forward to reading about your family and little Miss K! When you wrote that DH was in Newcastle...I laughed because we have a Newcastle right up the road from us...that would have been fun!
