Family Reunion - Part 1

This year I decided that we really needed to go to Kansas for the family reunion. The last time I have been was when B & I were still dating. 7 Years!!! Most family had only seen the girls through pictures. So... after B finished up basketball camp we loaded up the car and headed out.

My friend Carrie was very nice and gave me her car seat for LB. It is much more comfy and exactly like Kay's.

Here they are - not knowing they are in for a 6 hour drive.

We drove in on Friday night and just went out to dinner and to the hotel. Dinner was a disaster. We went to a restaurant of a family we know and did not realize they close at 8:30 on Friday. WOW. They seated and served us but were out of everything the girls could eat but we didn't know until it was too late. So B and I rushed through dinner and then took them to get McDonalds. We felt they earned it for sitting through our meal.
