Dance Recital: Dress rehersal.

Kay decided over Christmas she wanted back in dance. She had been in soccer and while she enjoyed it she was so small, I thought she'd benifit from doing dance one more year and then trying soccer again. She has had a blast.

This is her and some of her classmates singing 'Little Fish' to us while they wait during dress rehersal.

I show you that picture because it is the last one I got of Dress rehersal. RIght after this shot was taken, I made eye contact with her teacher who said 'Hey, could you help me in the back for a second.' This turned into me being a backstage Mom. Which means, I got to entertain 13 4-5 year olds for the 2 1/2 hours of Dress rehersal and I got to be back stage during the whole recital the next day. To say it was tourture would be an understatement. THe poor girls were hungry, tired, and because of the short (no) notice me and the other lady had nothing for them to do.
